Membership is a formal commitment to "Get Alongside" the work that God is doing here. If you have been baptized and you have been attending GCF regularly for at least six months, you are eligible! Submit this application as a first step. Pastor Terry will then arrange a meeting with you to review our membership handbook, chat about your faith journey and answer any of your questions.
Those who complete the full membership process make the following commitment:
Having accepted Christ as my Lord and Saviour, and being in agreement with Georgetown Christian Fellowship’s Statement of Faith, its strategies and structure, I now feel led by the Holy Spirit to become a member of the GCF church family. In doing so, I commit myself to God and to the other members of GCF to do the following:
I will protect the unity of GCF: by acting in love toward other members; by refusing to gossip; by submitting to GCF’s leadership
I will share in the responsibility for GCF: by praying for its growth; by inviting those I know who don’t know Christ to attend; by warmly welcoming those who are new to GCF
I will support the testimony of GCF: By attending regularly; by living a godly life; by tithing regularly
I will serve the ministry of GCF: by contributing my gifts and talents; by being equipped to serve by my Pastors; by developing a servant’s heart.
